"Humbug" A murder in a town entirely populated by circus sideshow performers puts Mulder and Scully on a most bizarre case, where anyone in town is strange enough to be considered a suspect. Since the murderer can enter and exit through extremely confined spaces, Mulder suggest that it could be the legendary Feejee Mermaid. As more murders occur, the agents discover that unusual behavior isn't cause for suspicion in this town - it's status quo. "Anasazi" When Mulder receives a computer disk containing Defense Department top secret files on extraterrestrial life, he's certain it's the truth he's been searching for. Although the files are encrypted, Scully recognizes the code as the Navajo Code used during World War II and tells Mulder she may know someone who can translate it. As an increasingly agitated Mulder awaits word on the files' contents, his father calls him home on an urgent matter. But before Mulder can discover what's wrong, his father is killed. Convinced Mulder will be blamed, the two agents take refuge on the Navajo reservation in New Mexico - where an earthquake has uncovered a buried boxcar whose contents could expose one of the government's most closely guarded and horrific secrets.
